Nick Graham - Dudley Photographer

Hey there, I'm Nick. 

I’m a Dudley photographer capturing weddings, food and products. I cover the West Midlands and further afield, capturing both unforgettable moments and mouth-watering food through the use of imagery & videos. 

My first experience with a camera was back in university, where I studied Visual Communications. One of my modules was to create an advertisement for a fictional company, and I loved it. From that moment on, I knew that I wanted to explore photography further.  

After completing university, I embarked on an unexpected culinary journey as a chef at a prestigious golf course, where I honed my skills and showcased my passion for creating visually stunning dishes. Throughout my tenure, I demonstrated unwavering enthusiasm and ambition, steadily advancing through the ranks.  

As a chef, I seized the opportunity to channel my creativity into crafting exquisite culinary masterpieces that delighted diners and elevated their dining experience. This experience ignited a passion for the creative visual arts and made me excited to branch more into photography via the food route. 

My journey from chef to a photographer in Dudley, began while catering weddings at the golf course. Intrigued by each couple's story, I observed their styles through room setups and participated in meetings to ensure their day was unforgettable. Capturing room layouts and plated dishes during shifts, my portfolio unintentionally diversified to include food and weddings, combining all my passions, like it was meant to be.  

I know now how invaluable this experience is whilst working with wedding couples and chefs alike. The insights I have gained aren't just those of a traditional photographer, but someone who knows how to make weddings and events special for my clients.  

If you are still reading, then well done! Some lesser-known facts about me are I'm addicted to buying new fragrances (meaning you will never have a smelly photographer); my biggest pet peeve is creased clothing; I’m a people watcher (as weird as that sounds I have an avid imagination, I like to build stories in my head of who they are; what they do; what kind of life they live etc.) and my favourite dessert ever is a Bailey’s tiramisu. 

When I’m not capturing beautiful weddings or delicious food, you will find me spending time with my nephew; walking my dogs or in the gym. Having a strong family bond is highly important to me so whether it be playing the PlayStation together; playing football over the fields or a Sunday evening trip to McDonalds I always make time to spend with him. A lot of my friends say that I’m just as obsessed with the gym as I am photography. I’m a huge advocate for keeping active, it's good for the soul body and mind. My two dogs are by far my best friends, that hour or so walk just being present is paramount to me. I read once that dogs/pets are our best friend all of their life but only a short period of ours, so I strongly believe in giving them the best life possible.
